Matt Lenz
Matt has an extensive fishing background and is building his hunting reputation.
Matt grew up on the lakes of MN fishing bass, walleyes, panfish, and pike.
Over the last 8 years, Matt has fine tuned his fly fishing skills and was
recently a guide on the world renown Taylor River. “Fly fishing is
definitely a challenge I enjoy. Bringing a fish in on a fly rod is one of
the most exciting things one can experience.” Some of Matt’s
highlights in fly fishing include 40inch muskies, multiple 20lb browns ,
a 30 inch rainbow, and multiple trout over 24 inches. He ties his own flies
and is known to have a few secrets up his sleeve. Matt is gaining expertise
in the hunting field going after deer, waterfowl and pheasants.

Jake Bruhn-Ding
Jake
has a widespread range in his outdoor passions. Whether it be stalking
whitetails, flushing roosters, hooking trout, or designing conservation
projects he does them all at full speed with an exceptional success rate.
Through the years his determination for success has developed different
strategies and tactics for successfully catching/harvesting the wildlife
he targets. Jake has a real desire to discover and explore new destinations;
a few of his favorites include trips to Northern Canada for Muskies, Caribbean
for Tuna, Brazil for Peacock Bass, and a handful of other destinations.
His inner stalemate between fishing and hunting has been broken due to
his introduction to fly fishing three years ago. He has been quoted as
saying, “there is nothing like being hooked up to a large trout on
a fly rod…the most gratifying part is when you get to release them”.
All that to be said, don’t be surprised to see Jake in a duck blind
in the morning and casting in the afternoon. Conservation and outdoor education
have recently become close to Jake’s heart, due to a diminishing
interest in the outdoors from the American youth and increased urban expansion.

Jason
Jason
may be one of the best flyfisherman in the Midwest when it comes to targeting
and landing large fish. He has been fishing for over 25 years and
for the last 10 years, he has been fine tuning his flyfishing skills catching
trout, salmon, bass, steelhead, and his new favorite muskies. Those who
watch Jason on the water know that he has something special. He likes to
target
the biggest fish he can find and it's obvious he has succeeded. He has
caught many 40+ inch pike and muskies, walleyes over 30 inches, rainbow
and brown
trout over 30 inches, and smallmouth and largemouth bass over 20 inches.
He loves to pursue these fish both during the day and at night, and many
of these fish have come on his own hand-tied flies. Jason tends to be on
the water, whether that be river or lake, any chance he gets and it has
paid off for him. Contact Jason at thehawgtrough@hotmail.com.

Jeffrey Oien
Jeffrey
has spent his entire life perfecting his skills both as a fisherman and
a hunter. He grew up on the lakes of Minnesota targeting walleyes, northern
pike, smallmouth bass, and panfish. His perfection lies with catching large
walleyes on Minnesota lakes. Over the last several years Jeffrey has found
a new love and passion; a love for fly fishing, and a passion for catching
large trout. As a student of the trade, he has quickly honed and refined
his knowledge of trout and fly fishing as a whole. When Jeffrey isn’t targeting large freshwater fish, he spends his time hunting. He is an avid whitetail deer hunter, and has harvested several each year since he began this passion of his. Complimentary to this, he enjoys chasing waterfowl and upland game, with a knack for duck hunting. Jeffrey’s abilities and knowledge are apparent through his successful outdoor career. His successes include a multitude of walleyes 26”-30”, a number of large trout over 22”, 40” plus
northern pike and muskellunge, as well as trophy whitetail, waterfowl, and
upland game. Jeffrey has truly developed into a trophy outdoorsman. Contact

Brandon Carr
Brandon
grew up in the west central region of Minnesota where he built his passion
and knowledge for the outdoors. The extensive amount of lakes and rivers
in this area enabled Brandon to gain experience in many fishing habitats
as well
as a wide variety of fish. Over the years Brandon has found walleye fishing
to be his greatest passion while on the water. The finesse and strategic
fishing methods walleyes require is what will never stop Brandon from
chasing these
wonderfully tasting fish. When fall rolls around, Brandon heads for the
fields and pot holes of Minnesota and North Dakota. He has been hunting
the plains
of North Dakota for wiley roosters and Northern Mallards since he was
10. The vast open areas and abundance of upland and waterfowl birds puts Brandon
in his prime. There is no where else he would rather be than the prairie
pot hole region on a cold snowy day in late fall. Contact
